Are skin boosters like dermal fillers?

Derma RF is a fractional radio frequency treatment which uses microneedling to cause a controlled injury to the skin and radio frequency energy to heat the underlying layers of skin, causing constriction and tightening of the skin, as well as the stimulation of collagen and elastin production.

What is microblading?

Microblading is a method of application which involves planting pigments under the skin using a hand tool with very fine needles to create natural, realistic hair strokes.

What will the procedure involve?

After a consultation and a negative patch test to ensure you are suitable to have the treatment, you come in for your first appointment which typicallys takes around 2 hours. Time will be taken to decide on the shape and style of your new brow then the colour of pigment will be selected. A topical numbing cream will be applied then the process will begin of implanting the pigment.

After the process is complete you will be given your aftercare ointment and instructions. Your second appointment will be 4 - 6 weeks later which is when we finely tune your enhancement.

How long will they last?

Microblading is a semi - permanent technique so will fade over 12 - 18 months. You can then come back for a freshen up.

Treatment of unsightly red and purple thread veins and spider veins in the legs. Sclerosant is precisely injected using a microfine needle to destroy veins. Most patients require 2 - 4 treatments depending on the extent of the veins to be treated and how well the injections travel within them. Sessions are carried out on a 4 weekly basis. A compression stocking will be provided to wear immediately after treatment, but you may resume most daily activities straight after treatment.

Skin tags and skin disorders such as ketatosis can be irritating as they can catch on clothing and jewelry and may make people feel self conscious. Using either cryotherapy or shortwave diathermy skin tags, moles and other topical skin disorders can be removed or reduced quickly and comfortably.  There is very little downtime and most activites can be reumed straight away.

 

Pigmentation which can also be known as age spots or sunspots can be dramatically reduced using cryotherapy.  This is a quick, painless treatment which delivers fantastic results.
